The Student Poster Competition is an integral part of BIOCON that celebrates the ingenuity and intellectual prowess of student researchers. This competition brings together students from various disciplines, offering them a unique opportunity to showcase their groundbreaking research projects to a diverse audience.

Participants are encouraged to design visually captivating and informative posters that effectively communicate their research findings, methodologies, and implications. Esteemed experts and members of academia serve as judges, evaluating the depth of research, clarity of presentation, and overall impact. The event fosters a spirit of healthy competition, collaboration, and knowledge sharing, driving students to push the boundaries of innovation and make significant contributions to the bioeconomy.
The Student Poster Competition has two streams; College and Undergraduate Students and Graduate and PhD Students.
Prizes are awarded as follows:
College and Undergraduate Student Prizes
1st Place: $500
2nd Place: $300
3rd Place: $200
Graduate and PhD Student Prizes
1st Place: $500
2nd Place: $300

Interested students are encouraged to send an abstract (200 words max.) explaining their research project and its relevance to themes of the conference (http://www.atlanticbiocon.ca) to [email protected] and [email protected] by Sunday, March 3, 2024. Acceptance notifications will be sent out by March 17, 2024.
