Can something be beautiful AND sensible? Sweden's project for a new biomass plant looks like something out of science fiction and re-imagines the public perception of what a power plant should be. The structure would use existing cogeneration biomass technology to supplement the local energy infrastructure during Sweden's dark, cold winters.
Not only is the project about sensible energy but it will also be fun and educational for the community. The Diamond Dome's transparent walls will allow guests to see and learn about what happens within, and the interior and exterior will be a public space and venue. Click here to learn more.
